This weekend, I found myself feeling a little under the weather. So, when my dearest husband took our daughters out to buy groceries, I chose to stay home in my pajamas. They returned at lunchtime with bags and bags of yummy food for the coming weeks - and best of all - a bouquet of splendid, pink tulips just for me.
This afternoon, I took some time out from the heap of laundry and cleaning to photograph these little luxuries. After all, they're temporary, and I want to record their beauty so I can remember it later. When I was finished taking my little photos, I gobbled up the raspberries and arranged the tulips on the kitchen table. The rest of my day was a little lighter and a little sweeter as a result.
I am wishing you all at least a little beauty in the corners of your life to brighten up your days.
With love, Tracy
I always love these sweet gifts...beautiful capture. Hope your day is just as bright. :-) Rebecca
ReplyDeleteYes, the gifts were very sweet, and I'm so happy I took the time to document them so I can remember them. The flowers are wilted now, and the raspberries gobbled up, but I've got the photo on my fridge. It makes me smile. Wishing you bright days, too. - Tracy
